VCS Smooth Streaming for Microsoft Silverlight

The VCS Smooth Streaming allows you to stream Microsoft´s Smooth Streaming format. If the Internet bandwidth and video rendering capability on your playback device are sufficiently high, you'll experience high-definition video playback of the sample content. If your actual bandwidth is below the encoded bandwidth or the current videostream your playback device is video-challenged, then you will experience the adaptive nature of Smooth Streaming without needing to simulate a bandwidth cap.

How it works?

Thanks to the freedom that we have with the Level(3) CDN and API´s we installed our Unix based VCS Streaming Technology for iPhone, Silverlight and Flash in a very short time into the Level(3) CDN / Content Delivery Network. Our VCS Servercluster communicates directly with Level(3) tier 1 backone which are connected to 7 of the word´s top ten internet destinations.
